Happy Thanksgiving!

This blog contains 3 ideologies that Rock Bottom Granite uses on an everyday basis, not just on Turkey Day. Togetherness, Generosity, & Gratitude.

     – Togetherness: Rock Bottom Granite is a locally owned and operated natural stone business in the Treasure Valley. As the Treasure Valley has grown, so have we. When you decide to use our services and/or materials for your home building/remodeling projects, you are helping Brian, Gisele and the whole Rock Bottom team afford a better life, whether it be a first home, a retirement plan, a gift for our loved ones, or even a fun gadget that we’ve been wanting all year long. That isn’t the only thing provided by you, though, when choosing Rock Bottom Granite, for you home needs. You’re giving us the chance to connect to the people that have enabled us to have this opportunity for a better life. You are allowing us to see and care for the people close and distant in this little slice of heaven located in the heart of northwest of America. And we are very thankful for that opportunity. But togetherness isn’t just about us, it’s about YOU, too! We try to do the best we can. We know that you work hard for your money, and many sacrifices were made along the way. So when you show up to our office, and make your way into our warehouse, we understand that you chose to come here, and we’re grateful for that. We know we aren’t the only natural stone provider in Idaho, but that doesn’t mean we can’t try to be the best. We value your time, and the time we get to spend together, because so much of life is spent apart from things that are truly important. On a sided note about togetherness… These are unprecedented times. Political and health concerns have divided many Americans and there families this year. If there was one thing that I would like to say about the current situation, is this: stay safe, stay smart, and realize that we need to work together, even if we are apart, or disagree ideologically. America is a mixing pot of ideas and aptitudes, but America is stronger as one republic.

Generosity: Giving without expecting anything in return can be one of the greatest feelings and motivators in life. Many, MANY Americans practice this ideology. Just look at social media, there are thousands, if not MILLIONS of creators, teachers, and motivators spreading techniques, beliefs, and creations to the public in the hopes of giving some form of value, to someone out there.. A look into your city, and you will see thrift stores, low-income housing, job postings, free lessons, food banks… the list goes on and on. Humans are caring by nature, and we want to help each other, in order to succeed for the greater good of society. That is generosity. Giving others a chance, helping someone in need, nurturing a passion, believing in them when no-one else did. I know Rock Bottom Granite has created second chances, both internally and to the public. We practice generosity, because we can. We are lucky enough to see past our own perception and try to create a broader spectrum of good. If you come into our shop, you will understand. You aren’t going to see a large corporation, where everything blends into one. You will see an amalgamation of ideas, personalities, and efforts, mixed into a humble point on the Earth. We want to spread the belief that you can do whatever you want, that you can help, even if it’s just through taking the time, and sharing your own experiences and knowledge.

Gratitude: Being grateful can be difficult. Becoming accustomed to a certain lifestyle or environment is a natural adaption to humans. But every morning, when the open sign is put out, there is a rushing stream of gratitude with a simple sign and wrist flick maneuver. The amount of time and energy put into running a business is phenomenal. But it wouldn’t be worth a darn thing if it wasn’t for everyone involved. From our owners to salespeople, the fabricators, to our valued guests and customers, none of this would be possible without them. So thank you. Thank you to everyone who has ever set foot inside a business or home that had something to do with Rock Bottom Granite. You have made our dreams possible, and we try everyday to make your dreams happen too.

If you have made it this far, thank you for reading. We really appreciate you. Happy Thanksgiving – Rock Bottom Granite Crew
